He has been a member of the Cadaqu\u00e9s Orchestra and has collaborated with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Mozart, ORF- Symphonie Orchester Wien, Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Daniele Gatti, Esa Pekka Salonen, Daniel Harding, Gianandrea Noseda…<\/p>\n

Ximo Vicedo in his facet as a soloist has played with the Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de RTVE, Joven Orquesta Nacional de Espa\u00f1a, Orchestre du Prix de CSMDP, Orquesta de Albacete, Banda del CSMA, Banda Municipal de Barcelona, Banda Municipal de Bilbao, Banda Municipal de Madrid, Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica de M\u00e1laga, ADDA Sinf\u00f3nica and Euskadi Orkestra. In March 2019 he premiered “UN SUE\u00d1O MORISCO”, double Concerto for Trumpet, Trombone and Orchestra by Christian Lindberg, with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra in Madrid, a piece written and dedicated for Ximo Vicedo and Pacho Flores which was conducted by the composer.\u00a0 He has just recorded the “CONCERT FOR TROMBON AND ORCHESTRA” by Fernando Vel\u00e1zquez with the Euskadiko Orkestra and conducted by the composer himself.<\/p>\n

In his passion for pedagogy and teaching he is regularly invited as a teacher to different Spanish youth orchestras (JONDE, JONC, JOCAN, OJRM, JORCAM) and gives master classes and recitals in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Mexico, Lebanon, France, Poland, China, Hong Kong and Colombia. He has been a professor at the Conservatorio Superior de M\u00fasica de Arag\u00f3n from 2002 to 2013, has been part of the jury of the prestigious II International Trombone Competition of Alsace (France) and the Citt\u00e0 di Chieri Competition (Italy).<\/p>\n

In his concern for research and technical innovation of the instrument, Ximo is an important collaborator in the design of trombones, working hard with Vicente Honorato in the instrument factory STOMVI, acquiring knowledge of the acoustic performance of the materials used in the trombone construction process.<\/p>\n

His first CD as a soloist “LO SO\u00d1ADO” is the realization of many years of work, and thousands of miles walked, resulting in what is now his first solo recording production, which can be summarized as the sound of his dreams, with which he has been awarded two Silver Medals at the Global Music Awards. His repertoire is wide and his career is recognized, achieving the admiration of many composers who today create works to be interpreted by Ximo.<\/p>\n

He has been awarded the Premi “Ciutat de Castalla” a les Belles Arts 2013 and holds a Master’s Degree in Musical Research from the Valencia International University.<\/p>\n
